Discussions of the so-called Armenian Genocide in the French Senate will not add to the tone of interstate relations, Ali Hasanov, head of the socio-political section of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, says, Day.az reports.
The subject is to be discussed by historians, Hasanov said on Wednesday.
Azerbaijan is at war with Armenia. The responsibility for such tragic event as Khojaly lies with the people governing Armenia and they are the ones raising such issues, he insists.
