Presidential council for human rights prepares report on Russian elections

Russia's Presidential Council for Human Rights is now preparing a report on the recent parliamentary elections held in Russia, Ekho Moskvy says.

According to Dmitry Oreshkin, a member of the council, the reports will condemn the elections, saying violations during the polls were enormous.

Parliamentary elections were held in Russia on December 4th, 2011 with violations reported by all opposition parties and international observers. The United States and the European Union condemned the elections. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the elections were 'neither free, nor fair.'
