Chechen leader supports political reforms

The Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, says he supports the president's initiative to restore local elections, the Chechen leader's press service reports.

President Dmitry Medvedev told lawmakers during his annual address that it's necessary to elect governors and local officials.
