Yabloko's leader to take part in tomorrow's rally

Founder of the liberal Yabloko party Professor Grigory Yavlinsky says he will take part in tomorrow's opposition rally in downtown Moscow, Ekho Moskvy reports on Friday.

The demonstration will take place on Sakharov Avenue. Protesters believe the December parliamentary elections were unfair and demand a rerun and immediate resignation of the Central Elections Commission's chief Vladimir Churov.

Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev also said he will be present at the rally.

Almost 50,000 people indicated on Facebook and other social networks that they will take part in the event.
