Igor Sechin: Serious violations in electricity industry may provoke criminal cases

If the inspection carried out in the electricity sector will reveal serious violations, their results can provoke  criminal cases, said Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, RIA Novosti reported.

Answering the question of whether criminal proceedings can appear on the basis of these checks, he said: "It's not my department, but if the material would indicate not only a conflict of interests, but the violations of the Penal Code, the criminal charges are possible."
