Foreign Minister: Kuwait Embassy opening in Yerevan is a new impetus to bilateral relations

The opening of the Embassy of Kuwait in Yerevan would give new impetus to bilateral relations, said Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Monday during a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Bassam Mohammed Al Kabani, reports Novosti-Armenia referring to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting the parties stressed the importance of the process of implementing the agreements reached during the first session of the intergovernmental commissions of Armenia and Kuwait in October this year, as well as the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Kuwait Investment Company.
The sides also discussed prospects of cooperation in culture, as well as the development process in the Middle East.
