Armenia interested in ties with Arab Gulf states

Armenia is interested in developing ties with Arab Gulf states, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said, as he received credentials from the Ambassador of Kuwait Basam Muhammad al-Kabandin, News Armenia reports.


The president said that opening Armenian and Kuwait embassies in both states shows mutual willingness to improve relations.


The ambassador noted that he was ordered to develop bilateral ties in all spheres.


The sides emphasized the importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary relations, active cooperation within international organizations, cooperation in economy, culture and other spheres.
