US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza ends terms of office

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has met US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Matthew Bryza, Trend reports.

Bryza’s terms of office in Azerbaijan have come to an end.

The US diplomat congratulated Aliyev on his 50th birthday. He handed a congratulation note from US President Barack Obama, demonstrating the high evaluation of US-Azerbaijani partnership.

Bryza noted that he was impressed with the beauty of nature, rich culture and religious values of Azerbaijan.
Aliyev expressed satisfaction with development of Azerbaijani-US relations. He gave a high rating to Bryza’s work in Azerbaijan and thanked for contribution to developing ties.
