Russia and Turkey have agreed to prolong two long-term contracts on gas supply in 2012 and 2025 respectively, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, RIA Novosti reports.
Gazpromexport and Turkey’s Botas State Corporation have deals on purchase and sales of Russian natural gas signed on February 15, 1997, and February 18, 1998. Gazprom said earlier that commercial conditions on supply of Russian gas to the republic in 2012 had been agreed on.
