Armenian opposition wants to change voting system

The Armenian parliamentary opposition wants to abolish plurality voting system, RIA Novosti reports.

The Dashnaktsutyun and the Herritage parties say in a joint statement that the voting system should be changed.

Armenia's voting system is currently mixed, with 41 out 131 members of parliament elected according to the plurality system and 90 according to the proportional system.
