According to the presidential office director general for international relations Mohammad Reza Forghani, the president will start his Latin American tour by visiting Caracas for talks with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on different issues of mutual interest, Trend cites IRNA as saying.
"He will also take part in Daniel Ortega's oath taking ceremony as the president of Nicaragua and discuss with him different issues including regional and international developments," Forghani said.
He added that Ahmadinejad is also excheduled to meet with high ranking Cuban officials in Havana and consult with them a wide range of issues including bilateral relations as well global developments.
The Iranian president will also visit Ecuador to hold talks with Ecuadorian officials on implemention of some joint projects," he said.
