Further escalation of the conflict over Iran's nuclear program is unacceptable, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov says.
The minister's position on the matter was spelled out in an article by him published today by the Diplomacy Annual, ITAR-TASS reports on Thursday.
The Russian minister also condemned US and EU sanctions against Iran, saying they cannot settle the matter.
