Azerbaijan will take part in the first session of the UN Security Council on January 4, APA reports.
Azerbaijan, Morocco, Guatemala, Pakistan and Togo have obtained chairmanship as temporary members of the UN Security Council for 2 years. Talks will focus on the Syrian conflict and the Iranian nuclear program.
Azerbaijan has promised to make a constructive contribution to the work of the UN Security Council.
