The Strategia Center for Social and Political Studies will carry out exit polls at 200 polling stations in Kazakhstan at the coming parliamentary elections. The center plans to question about 30,000 people, president of the center Gulmira Ileuova said in Astana.
She predicted about 30,000 people will take part in the polling process. About 2,000 voters will visit a polling station or 1,000 in case of 50% attendance, about a third. The center plans to use 450 interviewers, about 2-3 per polling station.
Ileuova said that the difference between official data and exit polls should be about 5%.
The center carries out exit polls on the order of information and analytics center for studies of the post-Soviet space (MGU), supervised by Alexey Vlasov, Editor-in-Chief of Vestnik Kavkaza. VK supports the project.
