The Chechen motorized infantry has received 19 command and staff vehicles equipped with GLONASS navigation and video cameras, Echo Moskvi reports.
They are are also used for communication links. The GLONASS systems and cameras give information on the commander's location and an image of the battlefield. Information is transferred fast and is protected.
Barnaul-T anti-missile systems were provided. It may be used to control air space of Chechnya, Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, Rostov Region, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia.
