A secret list of weapons of the Pentagon has been posted on the Internet, which includes existing models and models under development, BBC reports.
The information was posted by Public Intelligence, which had published secret data earlier, Trend reports.
The list consists of over 100 pages with descriptions of weapons and damage they may cause. It includes lasers, heat beams and sound beams used against crowds, engines.
The weapons are developed by a department in Pentagon formed in 1996 soon after the operations in Somalia and Bosnia. James Luis, an expert of the Washington Center for Strategic and International Studies, said that the weapons are to neutralize enemies without physical harm.
The department spent at least $386 million on development of 50 projects of such weapons in 2009 with none of them realized.
