Parliamentary elections in Georgia will be held in October 2012. The Central Electoral Commission's chief says the body is ready for conducting polls, Georgia Online reports.
The head of the commission, Zurab Kharatishvili, says the polls will be conducted according to the Georgian Constitution in October and show an example of transparency and fairness.
These elections will be the most transparent and free in the history of Georgia, the official underlines.
