Russian president to invite Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents for trilateral meeting in Sochi in late January

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev plans to meet his Azerbaijani and Armenian counterparts Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan in Sochi in late January, News.am reports.

There have been 9 trilateral meetings since 2008. Two were held in 2011, one in Sochi on March 5 and one in Kazan on June 24.

Russia is a mediator in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. They have not met since the fruitless talks in Kazan for half a year.
