Armenian Ministry of Defense presents priorities of Armenian Armed Forces for 2012

The Armenian Ministry of Defense held a meeting of central office
departments, Armenia Today reports.

The press service of the Defense Ministry said that Defense Minister Seiran
Ohanyan presented the main activities and priorities of the country's
Armed Forces in 2012. Among the priorities the Minister identified
was the task of improving military training, military industrialization and
increasing discipline in the Armed Forces of the country.

By order of the Minister, several military personnel and civil servants were
awarded departmental medals and diplomas.

Ohanyan also praised the work of the professional permanent commission of
the ministry. In this connection, the head of the commission, an
adviser to Defense Minister Vahram Barseghyan, was awarded the
Bagramyan Medal.
