Families of killed soldiers will receive all necessary assistance - Ramzan Kadyrov

The Chechen authorities will provide all necessary assistance to the
families of soldiers who were killed or injured during the raid to eliminatemilitants in Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov said on Monday, RIA Novostireports.

A group of militants numbering 10-15 people was uncovered in the Vedeno
district on Sunday. The area of the security operation is surrounded by
the military.

According to recent reports, five militants were killed. Four soldiers
died during the operation.

"I have ordered to check what the families of the killed soldiers may
need. They will receive it. And we will also provide assistance to the

injured members of the military and the police," Kadyrov said.

"I visited today members of the military and the police undergoing medical
treatment. Altogether, 16 people were injured. Their condition is

satisfactory, their lives are not in danger. Most of them received

minor injuries. They are being given all necessary assistance," the
head of Chechnya said.

According to Kadyrov, the situation in the republic is calm and the

last operation suggests that "law-enforcement officers are
dealing with investigative activities effectively, and will strike at the militants should
they appear."

At the same time, Kadyrov added that the special operation conducted in
the Vedeno district was far from any settlements and no restrictions
