The Saryarkinsky District Court of Astana declined a lawsuit by the Rukhaniyat Party on canceling registry of the party as a public association on Monday.
The registry was canceled on December 28. The Central Electoral Commission said that the decision was based on an investigation of the Kazakh Prosecutor General’s Office. The investigation was initiated by the leader of Rukhaniyat, Altynshash Zhaganova.
