Azerbaijan has expressed the dissatisfaction by the position of Armenia, which delays the approval of renewed Madrid principles, which were formulated by mediators from Minsk group of OSCE as an foundation of negotiations between the countries.
“The renewed Madrid document around which recently are risen and discussed different questions is the foundation on which should be built all the further process of negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement”. This was declared by the press secretary of Azerbaijanian Foreign Ministry Elhan Poluhov – reports Day.az news agency.
“This document which allows to continue and extend the search of possible variants for the solving Azerbaijanian-Armenian Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is accepted and approved both by the Heads of the Countries co-chairmen of Minsk Group of OSCE by the co-chairmen themselves including EU and many other international organizations” – he said.
“In this situation Armenian position don’t give a clear answer on these principles and by that gives difficulties to the further advancement of negotiations. Armenian side should realize that the suggested variants gives an opportunity for the achievement of certain consensus in the process of negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The nonconstructive position of Armenian side can seriously influence the further process of negotiations” – mentioned E. Poluhov.
