Kazakhstan will conclude the pre-electoral campaigning by political parties this midnight, a CEC member Tatyana Okhlopkova said, Trend reports.
Citizens and public associations can no longer campaign to vote for their parties. Violation of this norm may end up in the party being banned from the polls.
Kazakhstan will hold parliamentary polls to the lower chamber and local elections on January 15. The National Democratic Party Nur Otan, Adilet, Party of Patriots, Nationwide Social Democratic Party, Akzhol, People’s Communist Party and Social Democratic Party Auil will be running in the parliamentary polls.
