Voting has begun in Astana for the People’s Assembly. 9 MPs will be elected. Kazakh Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev made the opening speech.
The deputies for election are Jumalat Aliyev, head of the Sustainable Kazakhstan Foundation, Murat Ahmadiyev, a Board member of the republican center, Yegor Kappel, a member of the association of Kazakh Germans “Vozrozhdeniye”, Roman Kim, the chairman of the Korean association, Ahmet Muradov, a co-chair of the association for development of Chechen and Ingush cultures “Vaynakh”, Nadezhda Nesterova, deputy chairwoman of the Zhambylskaya Region, member of the association of Russian, Slav and Cossack organizations, Zukhra Sayapova, head of the Tatar-Bashkir enthnocultural association “Tan” of Astana, Yuri Timoshenko, deputy chairman of the People’s Assembly, chairman of the association “Rada Ukraintsev Kazakhstana”, and Rozakul Khalmuradov, the honorary chairman of the republican Uzbek ethnocultural association “Dustlik”.
