Irakly Gvaladze, head of Gruzpatent, started his two-day visit to Azerbaijan today, Trend reports.
The goal of Gvaladze’s visit is to protect Georgian products in Azerbaijan. He will meet his Azerbaijani counterpart.
Azerbaijan is one of the main Georgian trade partners, making promotion of Georgian products a topical issue, the official said. The sides will also discuss protection of Azerbaijani products in Georgia, he adds.
Georgia is a coordinator of the global organization for protection of intellectual property in the region. Gvaladze meets heads of patent organizations of 11 states of the region.
