Daniel Andres, director of the European Bureau of the UN High Commission for Refugees, has arrived in Tbilisi, Georgia Online reports.
The official was invited by Georgian Minister for Refugees and Accommodation Koba Subeliani. Daniel Andres is on a six-day visit to meet officials in Tbilisi, observe refugee settlements and visit Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
The UN official will also arrive in Batumi, where he will visit the Justice Center and the Sarpi Customs Office on the Georgian-Turkish border.
