Armenian coalition parties discuss new parliament

Coalition parties of Armenia have discussed new settings at the parliament and decided to give the ruling Republican Party 67 mandates, News Armenia reports.

Prosperous Armenia will get 30 mandates, Orinats Yerkir – 6. Opposition parties will get 28 mandates, approved by President Serzh Sargsyan.

The ruling coalition headed by President Serzh Sargsyan consists of the Republican Party, Prosperous Armenia of businessman Gagik Tsarukyan and Orinats Yerkir of Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Bagdasaryan.

Armenia will hold parliamentary polls in May 2012.
