Ara Aramyan, a former Minister for Urban Planning of Armenia involved in a major scandal, plans to run for parliament basing on proportional lists of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Armenia Today reports.
Aramyan was dismissed by Robert Kocharyan in 2004 after an incident with his son, who had open fire at the Triumph Cafe. The former minister has recently joined Prosperous Armenia. Gagik Tsarukyan promissed to add him to the proportional list. Aramyan will provide votes in his City of Charentsavan for the party in exchange.
