China has demanded that the Strait of Hormuz to remain open and is against "any extremist actions" in the strategic region, Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao said in Doha (Qatar), Xinhua reports.
He also emphasized that China supports normal trade relations with Iran. He said that there are no reasons to bother about their trade relations.
Regarding the Iranian nuclear program, the Chinese PM said that the problem must be resolved through peaceful negotiations.
