Russian trade official in Azerbaijan on bilateral agreements

The Azerbaijani-Russian deal on diplomatic real estate will be signed in Moscow today. It would make a great contribution to the legal basis of the two states in 2012, Russian trade official Yuri Shedrin said, Trend reports.

The document will be signed within the framework of the visit of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to Moscow.

Three documents have been prepared for signing. They concern labour migration, parallel operation of Russian and Azerbaijani energy systems and Azerbaijan's long-term lease of a pavilion in the All-Russian Exhibition Center.

The agreement on energy systems will synchronize the electric systems of Russia and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan transfers electricity to neighbors, including Russia through the Derbent-Yashma power line. Azerbaijan makes profit from the operation.
