US to finance parliamentary polls in Georgia

The US and Georgia signed a new memorandum project. The document was signed by US Ambassador John Bas, Georgian Justice Minister Zurab Adeishvili, Director of the USAID office in Georgia Steven Heiking and Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava, Trend reports.


The project is to clarify the list of Tbilisi voters through adressing.. Location of 474 facilities will be clarified and addresses of 1.2 million citizens fixed. The US will provide $1 million.


The address project will receive a total of $16 million.
