Iran accuses US of dishonesty

The NATO radar in Turkey will not be a problem for Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said, ITAR-TASS reports.

He recalled the statements of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about protection of Israel from Iran with use of the radar. The foreign minister said that Iran does not believe in her words and has more faith in Turkey.

Concerning negotiations of the Iranian nuclear program with 5 constant members of the UN Security Council and Germany, Salehi noted that he had discussed the problem with Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. A letter was filed to consider the time and place for the talks.

Salehi noted that the region does not need US security support. The US uses states in the region to pressurize Iran. The US demonstrates the power to the world, but at the same time writes secret letters offering to discuss issues. "[Barack] Obama's administration is dishonest with its people", the foreign minister notes.
