The UN is checking reports of information leakage about Iranian nuclear facilities and nuclear specialist Moustafa Ahmadi Roshan from the IAEA, RIA Novosti reports.
The 32-year old specialist and teacher of the Polytechnical University was killed by a car blast in Tehran on January 11. The police say an unidentified biker planted a bomb in his vehicle. Roshan was reportedly the Deputy Director for Commercial Projects of the nuclear facility in Natanza.
Eshagh Al Habib, Iranian Deputy Representative to the UN, believes that terrorists use secret information from UN units, including the list of sanctions of the Security Council and talks of members of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) with Iranian scientists.
Al Habib noted in his speech at the UN that Roshan had met inspectors of the IAEA prior to his death.
Martin Nesirki, a mouthpiece of UN director general, said that they are checking the information.
