The US Defence Secretary Robert Gates is visiting Azerbaijan on June 6th-7th, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports, with reference to the US embassy in Baku.
Gates is intending to discuss bilateral cooperation issues with Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev and Defence minister Safar Abiyev.The main topic of the meeting will be the contribution Azerbaijan makes to delivering non-military goods to Afghanistan
