Georgian president gives speech at meeting of Venice Commission

President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili has taken part in an event devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, reports Georgia Today. "The Council of Europe is very important for our country. The Georgian people are determined to build a democratic state based on the principle of supremacy of law and protection of human rights. The first European structure to help Georgia with that was the Venice Commission", he said.
