Putin observes interactive migration map

Constantine Romodanovsky, head of the Russian Federal Migration Servide, met Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and demonstrated an interactive migration map, RIA Novosti reports.

The map shows the ethnic composition of region in percentage. Most migrants come from Uzbekistan (27%) and Ukraine (21%).

Romodanovsky says that some Ukrainians visit the country for two days, they earn money, evading taxes, return home and visit Russia again after just one day.

The official demonstrated the situation in the Primorsky Territory to Putin, where an APEC summit will be held in 2012.

Romodanovsky gave details on foreigners in Moscow. He said that there are 15539 Chinese in the Izmaylovo Hotel.
