CEC chief says Russian elections most fair in Europe

The head of the Russian Central Electoral Commission, Vladimir Churov, says the parliamentary elections held in Russia in December were the most fair in the modern European history.

He told the NTV TV channel that no fraud was registered during the polls.

At the same time observes from PACE and OSCE, as well as the Russian opposition, reported numerous cases of fraud.
