Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev arrived in Turkey on Monday, reports
ANS-Press. Within the framework of this visit, the sides will sign a
new gas agreement on the implementation of the "Nabucco" project.
The agreement concerns production volumes and the cost of the
"Shakh-Deniz" oil-field gas, sold to Turkey, as well as the transit of
Azerbaijani oil through its territory.
On the sidelines of the meeting ,Turkey will host a CICA summit on
June 8 on interaction and confidence building measures in Asia.
Russian Premier Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Nursultan
Nazarbaev have been invited to take part in the summit. It is expected
that the conference will see a meeting between
Erdogan-Putin-Nazarbaev-Aliev.
It is also expected that top-officials from Palestine, Iran, Ukraine
and other states will participate in the CICA summit.
