Turkish PM makes speech for nation

 

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has made a speech for the nation, TRT reports.

In his speech, Erdogan stressed on France’s passing the bill on criminalization of denial of the Armenian Genocide that had taken place in 1915. The Turkish prime minister urged a new study of archives.

Erdogan said that the bill was promoted according to the French scenario and will announce steps to be taken. He underlined that Turkey strives for true history, not its deformed version.

The prime minister commented on the situation in Syria. He underlined their stress on humanism and brotherhood in relations with the crisis-struck state..

Erdogan noted ethnic and confessional disagreements in Iraq and warned that polarization of the two aspects in Iraq is very dangerous. He urged sides to take words of wisdom into account.
