Dagestan has opened the Regional Youth Headquarters for support of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin as candidate for president, RIA Dagestan cites head of the structure Mukhtar Amirov as saying.
The organization consists of activists from the Dagestani State Technical University, Dagestani State University of Pedagogues, Dagestani State Institute for People’s Economy, the Nashi public movement for democracy, the youth project “Drug shops without narcotics”, education project “Dagestani blogger school” and the youth section of the political party Patriots of Russia.
The headquarters plan to organize campaigns in social networks and blogs.
Amirov noted that opposition is unprepared for responsibility, despite its active growth. The opposition has not composed a common program, he said.
