Putin may trust Yavlinsky with monitoring

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, a candidate for president, may hand Grigory Yavlinsky’s observers part of mandates for monitoring, RIA Novosti reports.

Putin said that Yavlinsky, a candidate banned from elections by the CEC, has many good professionals in his team.

Yavlinsky was banned for handing too many fake signature sheets. His supporters said that the candidate was banned for planning to send thousands of observers to monitor the polling process.
