Nurlan Yerimbetov, a well-known Kazakh journalist and political analyst, has become head of the Center for Social Partnership, as stated by Umirzak Shukeyev, head of the Samruk-Kazyn National Welfare Foundation. Yerimbetov plans to have an exclusive interview with Vestnik Kavkaza in the near future.
Formation of the Center for Social Partnership of the Samruk-Kazyn Foundation was announced on Friday, zonakz reports.
A working group was formed for analysis and modernization of social-labour relations. Shukeyev noted that they need to take the Janaozen events into account and prevent such conflicts.
He ordered measures to be taken to prevent such conflicts. Heads of enterprises are to be more attentive to needs of their employees and problems. “Why would the head of a mining facility be at an office in Alma-Ata, or head of Ozenmunaygaz in Astana? There will no longer be such practice”, Shukeyev says.
