Russian Vice-Premier Victor Zubkov will visit Yerevan at the invitation of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to discuss economic cooperation on February 6-7, RIA Novosti reports.
Zubkov will also meet President Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan.
Zubkov will negotiate political dialogue with Armenia on Tuesday. Russian and Armenian Presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh Sargsyan met in Sochi on January 23. The Russian president made his first visit to Armenia on August 20, 2010, Sargsyan made his first visit to Russia on October 23-25, 2011. The Armenian prime minister holds regular meetings with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin will meet Tigran Sargsyan within the framework of the inter-governmental commission for economic cooperation. They plan to sign a concept of the program for economic cooperation until 2020.
Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev and Director of Rosatom, a state corporation, Sergey Kiriyenko will visit Yerevan this week.
