Georgian servicemen fear contract cuts

Commanders threaten to cancel contracts with Georgian servicemen refusing to operate in Afghanistan as part of the NATO mission, Vzgliad reports.

Over 100 contracts were cancelled in January over refusal to serve in Afghanistan.

12 Georgians soldiers died in Afghanistan.

The number of Georgian troops in Afghanistan will increase by 750. Thus, the US and France will have 1,675 Georgian servicemen under command, more than forces of all NATO members in Afghanistan put together.
