The eurozone crisis in Europe will cause a reduction in financing for the Eastern Partnership, as stated by Trayan Christea, head of the delegation of the European Commission to Armenia, ARKA reports.
Armenia may gain a high rate of economic growth through association with the EU and signing of the free trade zone agreement. Armenia has GDP growth of 4%. The ambassador called it a good rate.
The Armenian National Statistical Service registered a GDP growth rate of 2.6% in 2009. Preliminary information from the Ministry for the Economy says that the rate was 4.6% in 2011.
