Putin to discuss Iranian nuclear problem with Ahmadinejad in Istanbul

Russian Premier Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad within the framework of the CICA summit in
Istanbul if his counterpart finds it necessary, ITAR-TASS reports.
"President Ahmadinejad is here and we will probably see each other
during the session," Putin said.
Meanwhile, the Russian premier pointed out again that any new
sanctions against Iran should not be excessive.
