Iran has motorboats that may be used for suicide bombing, US Vice Admiral Mark Fox, Commander of the US Fifth Fleet, says, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
The fleet is based in Bahrain and operates in the Gulf, Red Sea and part of the Indian Ocean.
The admiral noted that Iran has a large stockpile of sea mines and has 10 small submarines. The US Naval Forces developed plans for potential actions of the Iranian forces, which will be presented to President Barack Obama. Fox emphasized that the US is ready for any situation.
