Abbasali Kerim oglu Hasanov appointed ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan

Abbasali Kerim oglu Hasanov was appointed new ambassador of Azerbaijan to
Tajikistan, according to a decree signed by president Ilham Aliyev.

Hasanov is a professional diplomat, from 1999 to 2009 he headed the
diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan to Iran, is a permanent representative at
the IVF, and from 2009 he has been working as special ambassador at the
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

Previously, the Azerbaijani ambassador in Dushanbe was Magerram Aliyev. In May
2011 he received the order of "Crescent and Star", which has been
established by the International Committee for the Fight Against Terrorism,
Drugs and Environmental Crime - "INTERSAFETY".
