Abkhazians and South Ossetians with neutral passports or neutral IDs will be offered free treatment in Georgia, Vzglyad reports.
Nata Sherozia, head of the office of the Georgian government in Abkhazia, said that there are many people with such citizenship. Georgia offered 6 neutral passports for Abkhazians and South Ossetians. 50 neutral IDs were issued.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has accused Georgia of fraud, because the documents have a Georgian code. Abkhaz and South Ossetian officials are opposed to such documents.
The passports have been issued since November. The Czech Republic, Japan, Lithuania and Latvia recognize them. Tamar Kochoradze, spokesman of the State Ministry for Reintegration, said that there were no expectations for many to take up the documents.
