A delegation of Syrian public figures is on its way to Moscow to meet Russian officials, Interfax reports.
The National Unity Echelon consisting of 60 people will visit Moscow on February 16-17. It will have meetings at the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Federation Council, the Mayor’s Office, the Moscow Patriarchy, the Council of Muftis and the Writers’ Union.
The National Unity Echelon is a Syrian public organization striving for dialogue. It consists of businessmen, cultural figures and religious figures.
